RV Covers

Do any of you cover your fiver with an RV cover when storing it? Any recommendations for good or bad brands, materials etc.

I have no experience with any other, but got this one about 6 months ago from Amazon. $290. EXPEDITION by Eevelle 5th Wheel Trailer Cover - fits 37'-41' - 498"L x 102"W x 120"H - Gray It fits nice and snug. I bought this to last only one year and will sell it when we transition to FT. It has not been subjected to any severe weather....only heat. So far so good.

Our winters up here in CT are cold & windy.
A while back, I had SOB that I bought a custom $1,300 Sunbrella cover for it. Taking cover off in the spring it was obvious that the billowing cover had rubbed and damaged the painted areas.

My FBP RL has lots of black and dark silver paint and I have not covered it because I'm worried that "the cure will be worse than the disease".

Can anyone recommend a cover that has not damaged their paint while protecting from snow & ice?

I have the same worry with mine... I have spoken to a few owners that had corner rubs from the covers moving . .

Having seen what an OEM designed and fitted bra did to a sports car's front end I had, I would never put a 'movable' cover on an rv... ESPECIALLY since you described it as windy - your waxed full body paint will be good protection. (many, MANY cars are left out all the time )

I would just park it with a lot of angle so most snow loads might slide off and be done with it.

We opted to locate and rent a covered spot that does 'most' of the covering...
