Structural Inspections

What has been your experience with your Redwood dealers structural inspections ? Qualified inspectors ? How much do they charge ?

More like a sealant inspection is what I experienced, and for $250 they don't go on the roof, but you get your inspection signed off which I guess was the point.

I had mine inspected two years in a row by a very god mobile RV guy, was very thorough and caught a couple things early. RW allowed them but don't now. From what I have seen and heard, it is like atom ant said, it gets your inspection signed off for about $250 and keeps the warranty. I hit the roof 6-7 times a season to scrub it, touch up the sealant and do a good inspection. The nearest place to get mine inspected was CW and they wanted me to drop it off and leave it for a couple weeks.

To go along with this - are these inspections actually voluntary now?
