Subwoofer on 36FL

NOTE: Sorry but I got the thread title wrong, this thread is for a 38FL, not a 36FL

The LG Subwoofer on our 38FL is mounted in the basement, right across from the Hot Water Heater.
It is hard to hear due to being buried in the basement, seems like it was a afterthought by Redwood.
I moved it today, got it out of the basement and installed it beside the sofa on the off door side slide.
I had to move the sofa over some so it is not centered now, but it is not pushed up against the other side either.
I will say, it was worth the effort, it sure sounds much better

That was a good move. Now sure how it could be effective from the basement. Ours is behind the fireplace, but it seems to do OK.

Not very effective

I think the Redwood Engineers forgot about it, so they just stuck it in the basement, lol.

If ours has a subwoofer we've never found it!!

Many of the typical 5th Wheel floor plans have the Subwoofer mounted behind the fireplace.

On the 38FL there is no room behind the fireplace since there are kitchen cabinets behind the fireplace.

Like I said, I think Redwood forgot about the Subwoofer when laying out the 38FL, so they just stuck it in the basement.
