Summer Storage

We plan to store our 400lk in Florida for the summer. It will be used by a friend a few weekends each month there. Is there anything I need to do special? Should the slides be brought in each time it will sit for the week, in case of storms? The fridge will need to stay on, but I plan on having the water turned off as well as the water heater turned off. Will the ice maker be OK?

When "WE" are leaving our Redwood unattended we do the following:
~turn water OFF and disconnect the hose from the wet bay.. This way there is NO chance a valve goes bad and the coach fills with water.
~put all slides IN
~close all sewer valves
~turn OFF HVAC and water heater
~make sure the Surge protector is in use

There may be more, but that's a short list off the top of my head

With the water shut off be sure to turn off the ice maker.
As Joe stated, slides retracted & definitely the surge protector/EMS connected.
Personally I'd have a good coat of wax on the exterior also.

I would right up a check list for anyone that is going to set up or close up camp. Add in to check the areas that the slides come in are clear from shoes , pillows etc. Make sure the roof vents are closed and the curtains are closed to help with the heat and sun bleaching of the interior .
