For those of you that have them, where are they typically located? And does RW model specifically determine this location? Thanks.

Ours is hard wired and issecured to the rear bulkheadin the battery compartment

If you do a search through the forum, last summer some real friendly folks from Canada posted some good pictures of where they had mounted their surge protector.

Andy has it in the right place. You're basically limited to the firewall location as that is where the transfer switch and the cables you need to connect to are located.

They mounted mine behind the false wall in the basement or you can see it through the screen under the coat closet.

I plant to put mine on the bulkhead next to the transfer switch. I'm only going to surge the shoreline, and not the generator side.
