Questions for those who have taken delivery of new units in the last 30-60 days:

Did anyone get quartz counter tops without ordering them?
Has anyone gotten the Progressive Dynamics converter (vs WFCO)?
Anyone get feature changes that they were not expecting?

We have ordered a 36FB for delivery after the first of the year and wondered if anyone was getting undocumented changes/upgrades?

Thanks.

Gary

Yep, got the following unexpected items...
...quartz countertops (awesome)
...upgraded carpet and flooring (awesome)
...upgraded furniture (awesome)
...new bedroom dresser, entertainment center and amoire (awesome)
...sink, medicine cabinet and undersink cabinet in bedroom (not the best surprise, but we've come to appreciate the extra cabinet space)
...I haven't checked the converter, but will do so this weekend.

Another happy customer!

Our rl came off th eline late Sept. We took delivery 1st week of Oct. We unexpectedly (without ordering them and without extra cost got the new quartz countertops , carpet , flooring , bedroom dresser, entertainment center, armoire setup (no sink in the bedroom -- thank God!!!). Don't know if the furniture was different, but the recliners work fine-- recline easily -- unlike what was previously provided according to earlier posts here.

Thanks for the replies. That is all good news except the sink in the bedroom possibility. But, I would think the FB would be less likely to get one. We also are not a fan of that feature. I may drop RW and the dealer a line to let them know that is one surprise that would not be acceptable.

Again, thanks.

Gary

Hi Gary, if your unit will be "delivered after the first...", it is likely that it is close to being or already off the line - depending if you ordered full body paint. You should contact your dealer/Redwood immediately as it may be too late.

I forgot to mention that we got the new shades too -- such a complicated product, too many things to think of -- amazing how much engineering goes into these things! My husband still keeps looking around and marveling at how much they can fit into such a limited space!

Actually I hope the rig is not started. We are not in a hurry as we will need to store it for a while. By after the first I meant some time in the first quarter. We told the dealer even March/April would be ok. But, that said, I am gong to check to see when they will start. If it comes earlier we are ok with that too as we are getting so D@!%^&$ pumped.

They probably told us at the factory, but, I don't recall. How long does the process take from start to finish without full body paint? That is one of the few options we did not elect although we love the paint job. The "B" word kept rearing its ugly head (budget) and we had to say no to something. We did get the second awning, generator, Uniguard awnings, 8000# axles/G rated tires and other stuff I don't recall.

Anyway, thanks.

Gary

Gary, it sounds like you ordered a great unit. I wish I had the 8000 lb axles even though the 7000 lb axles seem to be working just fine. Congratulations on your purchase and post pictures after you get it.

We ordered our 38BR mid March and received it May 24, 2012.
