So the update on the washer dryer..... We met a really nice couple who camp all the time they were happy to show us there Montana and the Truck the tow with. They are planning on going full time as soon as the house sells which is right on the water. They don't want to go through another winter here in CT..They were selling other pieces of furniture inside the rv to make room for her hobbies while on the road so the story was true. Everything works and its winterized. It is now sitting inside our garage and I'm thrilled I saved more half the cost.

It's a Splendite 2100XC looks great now to cut the vent out, he was thinking about going out from the bottom with the vent anyone else try that?

Check your space. In some cases the unit must be placed almost against the back wall of the space, requiring the vent to exit through the wall directly behind the exit in the washer. At least that is how ours is in the RW and was the same in our Montana.

Good luck with the Splendide! Our experience wasn't good, our first one burned up electrically and was replaced under warranty, the replacement failed four times mainly because of the rubber "S" duct inside the the unit that ducts air to the outside vent clogs with lint at the narrow point and eventually kills the drying elements.

We gave up on it, replaced it with an Ariston separate washer and dryer unit, we will see how these work (same manufacturer).

I diligently tried to vent out the bottom of the slide, just couldn't do it because there is not enough room behind the dryer.

In your 36FL you would be pumping all that hot air on the right rear tire, I don't think I would like that.

Here is my plan if it works. Measurements are close but if I raise the machine up about 4" to be at the level of the wood rail that goes across the bottom of the door this will allow me to pull the machine forward about a 1-1/2 which now gives me 2-1/2" behind. I will make either steel or aluminum duct work that is 2"x6" and run down the rear wall then a 90 to go back under the platform and then one more 90 to exit through the floor. Don't really want to dump all the hot air on the tire as you mentioned and also I believe there is frame work under the floor directly straight down the wall.
I'm just thinking that I would prefer not to cut a vent in the side since this is also the area we may be sitting under the awning.
I'll let you know if it works out. If not, then I will go out the side.

Loews and Home Depot sells an aluminum dryer vent that will fit in a 2 x 4 studwall. It also extends. Might give you more options.

Lowes item # 84556 & 433302

Just thinking, mine has a flapper in it, if it was in the floor it would hang open. May have to figure something out for that.

Well it's in and ended up not doing much of what I thought I was going to do because of the limited room.
We also talked about how much we were going to actually use the dryer which is not going to be often so I opted for the easy way out. being located in the bathroom also gives me the option to turn the roof vent on.
All I did was relocate a shelf for maximum space and then added a lint trap.

Question: I have a 2015 39MB and have been living in it full time for 6 months and now decided would be nice to have washer and dryer. I would like separate stackable front loaders. I don't see any less than 23-1/2 in wide. This will fit through our front door and the door to bedroom but not the door between bedroom and master bath where laundry closet is located. The most that will fit through that opening is 22 inch wide! Any suggestions?

Not sure, but we have a 2016 39MB with the Factory installed washer and dryer. They are the Splendide Ariston models and I think they will fit through the doors, might be really tight tho.
Now just doing some work on the washer because the Good Old RW employees crushed part of the drain hose, it appears that they might have been installed and the rest of the bathroom area built around them as I had to dismantle part of the cabinet to pull the washer out. Another real bright idea from RW was the use of a drain pan under the washer, only problem the drain of the pan goes no where except onto the floor in the back of the cabinet.

hopefully your measurements are off. You may have to remove the door and trim to get them in

Is the pocket door going from your bedroom to your master bath narrower than the pocket door from main living area into your bedroom? I can't understand why that doorway is narrower and wonder if it's a mistake? I have a call into my dealer to see what they think, but they told me yesterday they install a lot of washer and dryers so would be after factory made. From specks on Splendide they are 23-1/2 in wide also. I wondered about drain pan also but would think drain needs to go to sewer line!

OK, just measured ours: Door way going into the Bedroom is 25" wide, going from the Bedroom into the Bath is 23 1/2" and our Washer and Dryer both measure 23" wide. So on ours you could get them in without removing any trim, but might need to remove the Hand Rail on the Steps into the Bedroom.
