Water filter

I really don't know if this goes into this section, however this is where I am placing it. When I bought my used RW from Lazydays I just assumed that my two battery containers each had a battery. When mine went dead a few months after the purchase and I bought a new battery I thought I would just get two new ones. To my surprise my back container was empty, no battery. I only had one battery. Today I thought it was time to change my water filter in the basement. Always thinking I had a water filter. I opened it up and you guessed it, no Filter. You would think after paying a lot of money for one of the best fifth wheels on the market the small things would be done. I don't blame RW because mine was used. However, I am not too happy with Lazydays for not preparing my RW. Next time I need to be more diligent in my pre-sale inspection and walk through.

Dave, that doesn't surprise me at all, after having several dealings with Lazydays. Don't expect anything better if you need service from them.

Ya - thats a good reminder to check the vacuum cleaner bag, because the factory stuffs them inside the vacuum but does not install them.

Just think, you figured it all out in a short time, the prior owner never did figure it out

Just a note, if it's parked for a long time, you don't want to leave a water filter in it. Drain it and toss the filter.

I would agree, I have been very disappointed in Lazy Days service, for such a large dealership they sure need to improve their service and customer relations after the sale !!!

Their main focus is on Sales, if they could do away with Service I think they would.

Yep, sales brings in the money, service is a side line for them.

What is a long time ? And why don't you want to leave it in?

I may be a fanatic, but I completely drain everything on mine each time we return from vacation - unless its going back out within the week. I pull the filter and toss it. I'm just afraid of stuff growing in my water system, as I truly rely on it for drinking water and making ice. I guess I would say a 2 weeks would be too long for me.

Who knows how long his was on the lot, and where the water came from!

It's a very standard, common sized water filter and you can choose from an array of different types. Yes, they have them just about everywhere.

Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Camping World (for 3 times the price) most anywhere that sells that stuff.
