But go ahead and buy the crimp tool in case you do have to tighten up some loose crimp rings or change out some fittings in the future.

This is what I did to straighten mine out and they leaked. That is why I had to replace the 1/2x1/2 PEX to female iron pipe. The fitting is plastic and leaks once the brass valve is turned.

I reached in and found a loose fitting on the floor, but there is something else missing.
I am talking about the PEX fitting is plastic and has a poor sealing area against the bottom of the valve. Once the valve is rotated so the hose threads orientation is pointing toward the washer instead of the wall or where ever they are pointing this will cause a leak under the valve drip down the hose between the wall. Please remove the inspection cover and look at the fittings keep the cover off for several hours and feel the hose for wetness.

Hmm, actually it looks like that picture is turned sideways. The water alarm is on the ceiling and that white thing is my water filter (used to be). I know, sounds weird to have a water alarm on the ceiling, but the sensor is remote so it drops down to the floor where I screwed it to the floor. I keep the alarm up there so I can reach it through the hatch to change the battery.

I also have the plastic red and blue valves for the washer. The handle on the hot broke off when I went to winterize the trailer last month. I was taking it in for service work so I added that to the list and they are replacing with the brass valves.

Our RW is in for service to have the door fixed and painted Hopefully they do it right. I did learn that if you put the CRC on the door about once a month the hinges do operate better and don't require as much force to open the door.

Those are the stock factory valves. That must have been another cut back they made in 2015.

Were yours placed as poorly as mine. Mine were turned around 180*. The service box they are mounted in sure is cheap plastic. I found a stainless steel one I like. Maybe I will replace it since I am all ready in there and put a stainless washer and nut to secure the valve orientation.

Mine are facing the right way , but in the plastic box.. I do not see a problem with the box as of yet... But I also do not have a W/D in there...

That is good to know. The fittings are cheap plastic garbage and all this is going to be replaced.
