Thanks for the write-up.
I found the hardest part of making these mods was taking the roof off so you can make the mods in photo #1.

I agree about the roof. I can't find any screws to take the roof off and I hesitate to just start cutting. Details on Roof removal would be greatly appreciated.

Bergeman and 5th time: Y'all are funny. How about going under a low bridge. Seriously though anyone know where you can get the return air registers that hold the cheapy filter - web store preferably. Looked up Tiara and they direct you to another site for parts that does not even show Redwood brand.

I had the Redwood roof washed and all the seams caulked on the roof, then the Redwood was washed and waxed looks like new

There is a bridge in Durham NC for just that purpose. Google 11' 8"" bridge.

Speaking of the filters, mine were in pretty bad shape & couldnt find that foam anywhere, so I found a paper/spun material type at Ace Hardware that are the exact width but 12" long, trimmed to length & have worked perfectly for 1 1/2 years now, you get 12 of them for about $5 & toss them when dirty.

Hi Tony,
Since we talked here is more info for you and others if needed.
Picture I posted of the shocks shows them a little more vertical then others.
Here are the measurements and info.
The original kit needed the extension brackets for the RW that Sonny sent free of charge that included another set of lower brackets which you bolt together using the existing holes. You will need to pick up 2 additional bolts. He also sent new heavier gauge top U-bolt brackets
U-bolts are long enough and no need for longer ones. No extra threads but nut is flush with top of U-bolt
Top shock bracket center edge is located 4-5/8" to each side of center link bracket that is welded on the frame.
You asked for clearances with the shock.
When NO weight is on them if you measure from the bottom of the stationary shock top cover to center of bottom bolt it is 9-1/2"
When ALL weight is on them measuring same as above it is 5-1/2"
I checked the travel of the shock to make sure it would not bottom out and there is 3-1/2" to 4" beyond the full weight measurement so should be plenty of travel for the roads.
Hope this helps.
Steve

Installed a Motorolla baby monitor in the the trailer today. It has a phone app that you can move the camera to see the whole living area. We got it for the dogs when we are away. The nice part is it shows the temp inside the trailer and you can set the paramiters of the heat fluxuation and it will send you an alarm if it goes outside of that. It will support 4 cameras so if you want one in the bedroom outside whatever. We have security cameras in the stick and brick but the nice thing with this is the temp warning.

Had the MorRyde IS installed on my unit along with timken bearings. Have only towed about 300 miles so far but like the ride. My DW even said the unit rides better.
