If I was a betting man, I'd bet you're the only FL owner with a TV in the basement.
With cargo space so precious for us, there's no way I could sacrifice the area needed....but I'd sure like to try, if only to join your club.

Steve, looks like you had a very productive RW upgrade weekend ! All those mods look great! I only got the front cap waxed again..... I love when bugs slip right off with a hose...

Oh, I also tightened the braces holding the fender skirts, and greased the tri-glide , ( AGAIN) ..

Since I got the RL, I have always been discouraged with the cable TV wiring. Lately, I find myself at sites with trees blocking the Sat. This weekend, I began tracing the Cable TV and antenae wiring so I could use it. Hopeless....

I decided to rewire from the outside connection to the Entertainment Center & Bedroom TVs. Finally, we can use TVs when the Sat is covered. Pretty time-consuming endeavor.

I am at a very nice resort CG till 7/5.
If I had a roof mounted Satellite Dish it would be useless here due to all the trees but with my Tripod mounted Dish and my Dish Pointer App on my phone I was able to find a opening and got all three Satellites and a good HD Signal, I am a "Happy Camper"

I did.. BUT - it's been a LONG time since I saw bugs (planes) the size I saw driving threw Ohio..! HOLY COW they were big ,we would see them coming as we were going down the highway , then BANG! windshield.. BANG side mirror with splatter down the side... I had 2" diameter splatters on the sides of my awning rails ! It was a war zone !

my summer to-do list is all but gone so - I was bored...

Magnum Inverter Install

The other day I completed my used Magnum Inverter/Charger install including a new custom battery box. Now I can run my residential refrigerator going down the road. This was a 4-5 late afternoon and into the late night hour project. Added to our "new to us" 2012 36FL.

Beautiful installation! Gives me some new ideas for the battery box.
Thanks.

Today, I waxed the Stainless Fridge , Dish Washer and the shower walls... All 3 look great !.. I had to break out the Whirlpool book to see what to use and it stated right in the cleaning section to use automotive wax that is made for clear coats . .

Well, not today but yesterday. Spent part of the afternoon washing the pollen stains and pine needles off the roof and slide toppers.

Nice job! Do you keep distilled water in the "spacer" bottles? I so want to get rid of the stock battery boxes. I did remount my batteries from front to back to side by side for easier access, but still PITA. Thanks for sharing.

Would like to see a picture with the batteries wired. If you flip one of the batteries around, the parallel cabling would not go over the fill caps. Maybe you have done that. Does not appear you have a Generator next door.

Shane, I just replaced my leaf springs and had to look it up on Lippert's site. 7-8k axle u-bolts have a torque setting of 90 ft lbs.

Mine might too tight, I usually check mine when packing bearings so torque is set for wheels @ 110 so that's what u-bolts are torqued to.

5/8" U bolts torque to 110#....9/16" U bolts torque to 90#
I have seen both sizes on 7000# Lippert axles. Go figure.

Torque Wrenches: I need to purchase one of these. Any recommendations? Can't afford a SnapOn, but not sure I want to trust a Harbor Freight brand either. Craftsman & Tekton seem to be middle of the road price wise.

I have Craftsman brand. I've never had it calibrated, buy I trust the brand. I've always got good service out of Craftsman tools.
