I mentioned it before I had it so here is the finished product. 72 gallons with freedom fill system. Mounted the gauge under the drink holder so don't have to see it.

Now onto the next project

Steve,
I had my tank installed at the Atta factory a couple weeks ago. Also had the gauge put in the glove compartment. Made my first 1000 mile trip last week. It was really cool to see the tank fill up while driving. Finally, one stop for gas. Not having to worry about gas for once was an incredible relief.

In the picture, your switch is off. At the factory, they told me there is no real reason to have it off, even if the tank is empty. FYI

Now I can look for gas when I am at half a tank not feel like I am wasting time.

Yes it is off.
The truck has 3/4 of a tank so I was not able to test the transfer so once I am below 1/2 I can test and then will be left on.

Do they make one that will fit under and around a Roll n Lock be cover container? Nice looking setup.

That's exactly what this one is made for. It's an L shape and goes under the cover box. Main reason I went with this one and is mounted about 3" from front of bed. Filler neck on both sides also.

I also have the Roll-n-lock. I went with the 52 gallon version that has a tool box. All fits under the cover, nicely.

Is there a difference between diesel and gas? I have found both nozzles fit fine in the truck.

What actually happens if you try to run a diesel engine with gas?

Well ....... The diesel won't like you much. And will let you know with the request for multiple $$$$. Now if you REALLY want to screw up a diesel, put a few gallons of DEF into the fuel filler and then run it. My local Ford dealer had a new trainee helping on oil changes ........ They replaced the whole engine.

Steve - must have been a senior moment - I looked at the picture and didn't see the RnL box. And I have one !

Scott, can you post the link to the one you got ? That's exactly what I'm looking for as I currently have a bunch of stuff in a toolbox behind the cover but also want more fuel.

Thanks guys !!

FYI: I am having one issue with it. It seems to only work with 40 gallons at the moment. When I get back to Dallas I will have ATTA check it out.

I also need a step ladder to fill it but I had already been carrying one so not an issue for me.

Model: at52tt-rt

You can, but try not to, mix a small amount of diesel in gasoline ,but don't mix any gasoline in diesel.
That's why GM puts the DEF port in such a awkward place under the hood. Actually had a guy tell me if I wanted my 05 diesel to run better to pour a jug of DEF in the tank, I said yea it would run about a minute, FYI, DEF is 68% water.

Well today I started chasing down why both of my awning lights wouldn't come on last night. To make a several hour chase down to a few minutes, here is what I found. Yes once again I am totally amazed at how a manufacturer would send a high end RV out the door with what I have found. Every wire both for the awning motors and the led lights have been drug through drilled holes in aluminum with no thought of installing a rubber grommet. So there I found it one of the wires going through a drilled hole in the outside wall had a nick in it just enough to blow the fuse. The only way to find this wire was through what RW would call a junction box in the bathroom wardrobe closet. (Actually just a one inch hole drilled in the wall with a cover over it) All of the wiring was left short and in a strain when the awning is out and when the wind blows it magnifies the problem. By the way if you think that all the fuses are in the fuse box, think again, just by prowling through the wiring I found a 5 amp fuse down in the wall behind the awning light switch, that is the one that was blown. So, if you want another project, here is a good one installing the grommets that should have been installed in the first place. Anyone that owns a RV and is not willing to work on it or knows how is in for an expensive adventure.

Mounted the new cord reel in the back of the truck and works great! No room in the FL to give up for the reel just yet.

What upgrades am I doing?
The POS Marathon is one of my originals. I decided to keep two spares with me just in case so one in the bed and one under the RW. Once I wear out the G's I'll switch to the 17.5's for all from Ron.

Had a diesel VW Jetta back a few years. Local Gas Hut moved the diesel pump from stand alone to on the island in a multipump. Wife told the guy to fill er up... he did... with gas!
She got home and that was it! Gas Station had to pay for tow truck, flush, and new injector pump and all to get car running again... About an $1800 fill up.
