Someone on here said that he just sticks his long broom handle thru the upper fridge door handles & thru the bottom freezer handle when traveling.

Hi Jim, for right now I'm using a length of Velcro. When we are at the Rally next week I'm going to see if I can get one of the Redwood lock setups. If not that, then I will use the latches that Johnboy supplied the link to. I already have them and have painted them black, just would rather use the Redwood one if I can get it.
As far as island clearance, the frig misses the island by almost 3/4" when closed and the freezer handle is below the drawer handle. I'm thinking that on yours they may not have taken off the front leveling pads on the fridge. If they didn't, it sits a bit nose high and the freezer handle would hit. Also, ALL of the wiring at the back of the fridge enclosure has to be re-routed so that it is secured tight to the floor and all the way to the rear so that the fridge can be pushed all the way in.
In mine, when I got finished, the main body of the fridge only protrudes from the cabinet about 3/8". I used one of the 1x1 that was removed as a stop cleat to keep the fridge from moving. Haven't figured out the top yet, will pad it in the meantime.

Scott, the doors have to come off either fridge to get it through the entry door. After that, you enlist the help of 2 great young men that are members of my stepsons CrossFit Gym that simply come over and, pick the frig up and pass it up the steps. Lol
Can show it to you at the Rally if you'd like to see it. No more throwing out many $$$ of meat or having to be concerned if the rig was going to burn. I'm hoping the class action settlement may give me some $$ toward the replacement and I'm also going to list the Norcold for sale in craigslist as it does work.

I use the low-tech approach. I put a couch pillow between the pantry & dishwasher as I pull the slide in for travel. Ha

Just finished replacing the bathroom sink drain. That old one had to be the cheapest piece of $#*% I think I have ever seen. The new is a brushed nickel, push button. Love it!!

Yesterday I finished the kitchen sink. It became completely delaminated from the countertop and all of it was pulled, scraped and rebond back to the countertop. While is had very thing apart I also replaced the plastic drains in the kitchen sink and rebuild the hard to move leaking facet. They take Delta kit #30.

Had new aluminum steps installed and a fusion backup camera. Got the new waste master system and now have to mount the boxes under the trailer for it. Hooked up my new wi fi booster for use in campgrounds New motion detector scare lights to install. Serves momma right for turning me loose in the vendor section. Excellent Rally
