Found a leak on the ice maker supply line about 4" from the solenoid where the line rubbed against condenser, I cut line & added a 90 degree valve to the solenoid so I don't have to run in & shut it off under the sink.

The plastic door latch on the pantry door broke a few month back, had to replace with standard cabinet latches, now the same style plastic latch on the Kitchen Waste Basket door broke, replaced it with standard latches.

Today, first time ever, dishwasher would not run on generator. Always had in the past. Oh well...
Opened the main slide, caught the couch cushion in the slide and pulled the fascia off the slide - dang it!

That bites. I almost did the same thing with a pillow that fell on the floor. I starting hearing a cracking sound, so I stopped the slide and caught it on time.

Today I arrived at my campsite in Gillette, Wy. I did the same thing, not to much damage, will need to find matching finish for some wood that will need to be replaced. I do remember the dealer telling me to be careful about that.

I put a small pc of Velcro on the bottom of the Cushions and on the couch. They do not move anymore when traveling.

Don't you hate that cracking sound? Many of us have heard it. Happened to me on way home from picking it up. That started my RV repair odyssey. Good thing I can fix most anything (except "black water-related items). I would leave that to the professionals...

Brad, that's the reason that end cushion gets put into the recliner. That Dinning room slide is closer to the couch than the entertainment slide. And it's no different on this new MB, so the cushion goes on the recliner.

This is a scary thread. We are scheduled to pickup our new unit on Thursday and I am really starting to question our decision to purchase. The intent is to use the unit to travel during the winter months but you all are bringing a new level to buyers remorse.

there is no need to worry. redwoods are built as good or better than most rv's out there. you can go on any forum and see they all have some issues. Any RV needs maintanace and things will break. As said before hauling them down these highways is like them going through an earthquake.
There is a very small percentage of all rvs that will have major issues, Redwood is standing behind any issue that arises. I have had a few issues with mine and redwood has repaired them all

We towed our 2012 36RL over 35K miles without issues and already have 10K on this 2016 39MB we picked up in March. Had a issue with the main slide, but a hydraulic cylinder problem that was taken care of by RW. We buy them to use them, like 8 to 10 months a year.

I too had the same feeling at FIRST when reading the posts.. But I stuck with it ,and am 100% happy I did! You will find that MOST here are thrilled with their RW's , some have had issues either large or small , and some have had none..
Timing is also good as it looks like the top brass at Redwood are listening to issues , and TRYING to make things better.. In some eyes , that can't come soon enough!
And besides , there are 1,000's of Redwoods manufactured and on the roads with only a handful of issues here... I would think that IF there were many more , they would be seeking out a place like this to vent and be heard !
Go ahead , get the RW , and enjoy it ! Happy Camping! Joe
