Truck didn't even know or care that it was there. Tows like a dream. Now I can't wait to get it on behind the RW.
We've made the move to fulltime. As I write this I'm sitting at the desk we had built in the back of the RL looking out over a field and toward the river at the rv resort where we are.

House went on market last Friday and by that evening we had 8 showing appointments. By Saturday had three offers and then the one changed theirs to full price, and only home inspection. No seller rebate, nothing. House is now under contract - guess this is meant to be !!

Looks great Vaughan but I am still going to move out of your way when I see that triple tow coming. I used the bar also to tow my Jeep behind my box trucks when I would bring them in for service or inspections.

Looks like you're ready Vaughan! You won't even notice it's there. Did you get your camera installed?

Yesterday I scored a 2015 Trailer Saver BD3 Hitch for 800 bucks off Ebay included a Reese 2016 Ford adapter mount 300 new alone. Both my TV and RW should be much happier.......

I finally was able to get someone to listen to me about the shower doors! Christopher at RV outlet Georgetown fixed the shower doors. And yes they were installed incorrectly originally. If you live in Texas is is worth your time to go see Christopher. He listened and is able to fix anything .

That's great news. My RW is stored very near there. So what did he do with your doors?

We changed out the poly water line going to the frig today. It wasn't to bad of a job, just took time to fish the new line through ever hole in the walls and floor.

Unhappy Redwood owner at the moment

I made a repair list for our new 2017 Redwood which I had hoped to have fixed this
Fall when our season ended, unfortunately, when the circuit the Whirlpool fridge is plugged into quit working on our vacation and the sofa hideabed completely came apart, I was forced to take it in right away for repairs.

Please share if you have had any similar issues.

Leveling system running out of stroke on near level surfaces on the 4 rear jacks
Dirt devil bag box not mounted on both sides and being sucked in behind wall
TV and sound bar not working or connected correctly
Exterior dinning slide wall scratched and bottom border pulled away from frame. Slide is binding and has damaged paint job on slide and side wall of trailer.
Roof lap seals cracking on nose and tail
All crown molding in living space falling off walls
Bedroom door jam falling and pulling off wall
Bathroom pocket door hanging screws pulling out of top of door
Shower drain screen piece of tin lose in drain
Oven not working which I had to replace my self. Was never connected to power and pilot ignitor would not work. Furion shipped us a new oven directly. Kudos to them.
Bedroom slide cables lose
Batteries leaking acid through containers.
Solar connection not connected to batteries.
Reverse and security lamps full of moisture and glue.

We love the 5th wheel it is our second after having a Cameo and living through the awful experience of a 30 foot Rockwood travel trailer in our initial RV ownership tribulations. Right now this Redwood is bringing back bad memories unfortunately

I feel your pain. Hopefully, the dealer will be able to get you squared away. Otherwise, take one at a time, knock it out and move on to the next. Unfortunately, your story (different person) is heard too many times. I, like many others on this forum, have had to make many of the repairs ourselves. Our hard work has paid off in that we have an RV that does us proud. Feel free to ask questions; we're all here to lend a helping hand.

Don't get to discouraged...... Most all of us have been there and I was one of them. Start reading some of the older posts here and you will see you are not alone. It took me over a year to get ours the way it should have been. Good Luck!!!

"TV and sound bar not working or connected correctly"

Not really sure about you mean here but... When I first looked at a '17 Redwood the TV would not play through the sound bar. A tech tried to figure out the "problem" but was unable to make the TV play through anything but the TV speakers. A few days later we looked at another Redwood and went through the same scenario. When we bought our '18 the dealer (a different dealer than we first went to) said the TV wasn't supposed to play through the sound bar. Sounds hokey but that's what I have experienced.

On ours it's very simple, connect the Optical output of the TV to the Optical Input on the sound bar, but if you have the JBL sound bar, you need to step through the different input selections.

Well been so busy not sure where to start. Installed the monitor panels for the solar panels and surge protector next the the other monitors in the frnot closet by the door. One day to run the wiring through the walls. In which I figured out real quick my age is starting to show....LOL Then a day to mount the solar panels running the wiring through the roof just to the outside of the tank vent. Both jobs had to use a wire fish to feed it through which is not fun to do as one person. 1.5 bazillion trips up and down the ladder. Then day three ran the wiring into the front compartment going over the top of the basement storage ceiling coming into the compartment at an angle so I could feed the wires by the frame into the front compartment. It is all working great so nice to have it all done.

Then last Thursday I forgot my smarter than me phone in the passenger seat of the hotel van and went without it for 4 days. Being a busy body having my list of camper do's I took on the task of detailing out all 41.5 ft. Using 2 cans of hard wax this being a royal pain in the you know what. But all in all it feels good the complete all these things!! Not to mention sure looks good now.
