Gary, welcome to the "Window Club". Last weekend returning from New Hampshire, made a pit stop and noticed our Bedroom Slide window one side is shattered. Have no idea how it happened, a rock off the road, bird, whatever.
Called Tiara and have a replacement being built as all in the system are for build units. Hopping it gets here before we leave for the South for the Winter.

Installed the EZ-Shade snap on window sun shades. Same ones punksredwood used. These work ! Here in northern Arizona it was 105-108 and best the coach could do by end of day was holding 82-83 degrees inside. We are in total sun, no shade.
Installed the shades and dropped inside temp 6 degrees. Needless to say, I'm happy.

Looking out is about like looking through two sets of window screens but it really isn't that much of an issue. At least it's not a cave inside. Took a while to measure and cut accurately and th n put on all the glue on snaps but overall very happy with the results.

I'll try for pics. The lower section is two layers, both the EZ Shades and the factory screens. Tracy not wild about them, but they work.

New RV Pad

Complete the RV pad beside our new house this weekend. Nice to have parked at home no more storage yard.

Work repairing shower leak

Was looking for a way to see the back of my shower knobs because I felt like water was getting behind the knobs allowing water to run under the shower and out onto the bathroom floor. Discovered that the coat rack by the entrance door had a access panel behind it, unfortunately someone in construction glued it to the wall. Was able to unscrew it and break it free and tighten the fittings and caulk them from the backside which fixed the problem. Reinstalled the coat rack properly for future access. While looking for a way to repair this problem, trying to get to the pipes under the shower and bathroom sink proved problematic. I have a small storage compartment about 2x2x1 under my bathroom next to my entrance door. My brother-in-law who is a carpenter and I ripped out this compartment and rebuilt it so it could be taken apart as an access point. Now through the compartment door you would not believe how much access I now have to pipes, wiring, heat vents and I can see. Getting to old to crawl my fat self through the access panel in the basement.

After seeing how loose the fittings were screwed together behind my panel in the outside compartment, I took the coat hook panel off and tightened the fittings there. They were loose, but not leaking.

were their old chlorine soaked washers under connections?

reason they needed tightnening? crushed and swollen?

Are their crimp clamps or pipe fittings now i gotta inspect mine to seemed to have that issue before also water slightly seeping from under shower enclosure randomly

needs to inspect look for water trails in back by faucet on inside already replaced free shower door sweep and cut old silicone and recaulked from bottom also added more all new stainless screws on side seams and caulked.

maybe a new shower faucet too ? if needed gasket might be a little funked up , works fine but will check for leaks

I replaced bottom drain as it was corroded with a new stainless strainer and connections under shower pan wasnt very tight at all but not leaking too

On my 2014, there was white hose with screw-on fittings clamped on the end. The screw-on fittings were loose. No PEX or plumbing fittings involved.

I upgraded the little ceiling fan in the living room. From Redwood my RL38 came with a very small 36"~40" 4 blade paddle fans and no light. I was very close to the ceiling because it where the slides come in. So while waling thru Home Depo last weekend I was looking at ceiling hugger fans to replace the existing fan that made a clicking noise when it was on all speeds. So for $43 HD has a 5 blade 52" ceiling hugger fan that has a very low profile light. I am 6'-1 so anything that hangs down more then 12" in the living room would be a bad ideal. I will post a picture later today on the upgrade. But I am very happy with the results. The fan on low you can feel it moving air and the light with a 4watt LED makes for a nice warm glow in the room for watching TV without having to much lights

That looks almost identical to ours that came from RW, except for the 5 larger blades, as ours only has 3 short blades and hardly moves any air.

I'd love to put a better fan in ours, but I didn't think it would clear. Now I'm going to have to take a closer look.

Mark - would you happen to still have brand and model on the fan or maybe HD stock number ?
Looks good ! Also , did you swap the light for the 4 watt led ?

Thanks
