Can anyone tell me what this growth is? My bedroom floor got wet due to the poor quality control with the washer drain hose. Shorted out my slide control box. Got that all repaired and then a few weeks later this stuff showed up. Cleaned it all up and it came back. I have sprayed with Lysol, vinegar, peroxide and some other anti bacteria / mold products and it still comes back. I don’t want to use bleach because it’s on the carpet. The photo is 3 days after vacuuming it up. If you know what it is, how do you kill it?

Sorry but it looks like mold to me. I’ve read a Hepa carpet cleaner will kill it.
