Thanks everyone for warning me to double check! The Lippert chart shows 5/8 on the 17.5 wheels. Not the case. They are 9/16. I would have had a problem if I had of attempted to torque them at 200.

Guess I will be under ours this weekend checking the springs. I don't want to deal with that when on the road this summer. I am seriously considering taking it the shorts and getting rid of ours and going back to the MH. I have had issues but nothing like the issues I see on here or we have had with our RW. I feel like someone owes me a big wet KISS!!

Just went out to move the RW to storage after finishing a wash and wax. Did my usual walk-around prior to driving away and noticed a very narrow gap between the tires. Hmmm, I said. Maybe since the Level Up had the right side tires off the ground for leveling, that had something to do with it. Looked at the Equalizer and the spring shackles that attached to it were at very different angles. Looked at the other side...same thing. Hmmm, I said, WTH is going on. Got underneath and sure enough, broken spring! And just before we're getting ready for a 3,500 mile trip. Oh boy.
Oh no! its contagious!

Just got back from the spring shop. $55 for spring and new set of U -bolts...not too bad. Gotta say, "Max" in customer service at Lippert set me straight with a universal part number that I gave to the shop. She was extremely helpful. So this weekend will be a spring swap and the install of the MorRyde SRE 4000. WooHoo!

I'm glad I posted my spring issue, and glad you notice your problem before heading down the road. Make sure you closely check the springs on the same side as the broken ones. I had two broken, but thank goodness not the main spring. Hope your spring swap, and SRE 4000 install goes smoothly!

Do you have 5/8" lugs with washers???? most redwood start off life with 9/16 lugs that have tapered seat . these only need 120~130ftlbs

EDIT old post ! some one saw the facts I saw back years ago
