I'd like to have a face to face with the IGNORANT idiot that thought that the living room entertainment center outlets, the bedroom outlets AND the Appliance Garage oujtlets should be on 1, count them 1 15 amp breaker. That idiot needs his face rubbed in it.

I believe at 80% load. you could have 12 outlets on one 15 amp breaker. if you used them all at once, you might pop the breaker, if you were using power tools at the same time. the chance of this is slim to none. just my 2 cents.

Okay, on that note, can anyone read the "Hen scratching" for labels on the breaker panel??? Most we have no idea what the label says, worse than a Doctors writing. It would really be nice to know without going through the routine of turning each breaker off one at a time and see what doen't work.

I have also wondered what they mean. I've asked for an explanation but never got one. The text will be translated thousands of years from now by an archeologist digging through acient junk yards.

For the record, that 15 amp breaker has tripped just buy turning on the 50 amps to the coach. The only things that would be powered at that time would be two DirecTV receivers, the Winegard power supply, a digital clock in the bedroom and the coffee pot clock.
My apologies to those that my original post offended, but it is ridiculous that so much (especially the appliance garage) is tied to one breaker. To have the television and DirecTV receiver trip off because the coffee pot was turned on was the straw that broke the camels back today.

For some reason when I unplug my trailer to move it, one of the breakers pop. I'm not sure why this happens so I just remember to look at my breakers if everything doesn't come to life after I apply the power. I know this isn't from overloading.

OK, do you turn off the breaker on the pole before disconnecting the power cord to your RW?

Yes, always turn off the breaker on the pole before unplugging the 50 Amp power cord.

We have only been to a couplecampgrounds that actually have breakers on thier 30AMP pole and so far that seems to be the service available. We have only had the inside breaker go once and that was a result of tv, satellite recieveron when the coffee pot started) I knew better but forgot when I switched the coffee on - the silly units draw big when they start. We were lucky too - our hen had fairly good penmenship. We can read our panel ok.

Check the fuzes. In our 36RL, they are located in the outside compartment next to the entry door. Good luck.
