At last years Rally, Redwood provided a couple of lunches, a breakfast and a tour of the factory. I've reached out to the company but so far I haven't heard back as to what this year will bring. I'm going to be there on Thursday evening and will stay until Sunday morning. If any of you would like to help plan a "Pot Luck" I'm in favor of it and will be happy to help as well. I can tell you that last year we all had a lot of fun and some late night campfires. The company last year also answered a lot of our questions and treated us all like kings.

I've gotten several phone calls, emails and pm's from folks asking me questions. I'm in as much of the dark as the rest of you. Remember, contrary to common beliefs, I don't have any authority with the company. I just help out on the forum.

I'm looking forward to meeting all you folks

dave

Hi Dave,

The Professor and I will be in Howe early week and I am all for helping to plan a pot luck on Thursday evening and possibly again on Saturday evening. With the information you provided from Redwood about the meals they would be responsible for providing ... the 2 pot lucks seem reasonable.

I will be happy to help in any respect....so just let me know.

Lady E Cooper

I'd love to go to the rally, but my 36RE will be on the way from the factory to Maine. Can't wait.

Next thought ... does the campsite offer us the use of a meeting / dining room for either or both Thursday evening and Saturday evening?

We will be arriving on Thursday and are happy to help out with the pot lucks.

I'm not sure but I'd think it would be like last year in the dinning hall.

We plan on getting there Tues. if things go right. Will be more than willing to help with any gatherings & pot lucks. I have some campfire utensils like popcorn popper, pie maker hotdog forks etc. I also do dutch oven cooking over fire or charcoal. My preference is outdoor potlucks, but can do the indoor thing if majority wants. If there are enough early birds, maybe we can get something planned for Thur. evening. Looking forward to a good time.

Can we get a count of the rally goers that are planning on being there by Thur. noon. This will give us a little heads up as to if and what we can put together for a Thur. evening pot luck, or snacky, or meet & greet I'll start the count with (2). The wife & I.

Ginny and I should be arriving around 3pm on Thursday. As for the "pot luck" I may not be much fun. Since my wife and I watched a show called "Forks Over Knives" she's turned me into a "grass eater". Ginny calls it "Vegan" but either way it's not much fun and I simply have to avoid everything I love. Thankfully my adult beverages are made of wheat and grain so I'm still able to relax with a glass in hand. I had know idea how much I loved cheese until it was pulled from my sweaty hands.
