2017 Redwood Rally
Wanted to put an announcement up that Registration for this year's Rally is now live on the Redwood website.
If you are planning on coming to the Rally this year, go to the Redwood homepage www.redwood-rv.com and look on the lower right for the 2017 Rally information. It will lead you through registering.
Hope to see a bunch of new and old friends, this will be our 5th one !!
One thing ~ I noticed the dates are off on the website. The official Rally dates are July 19-22, Wednesday through Sunday. Not the 17th. Although a lot of us do come in for the whole week.

Al Peterson from Escapees Smart Weigh will be at the Rally from 7/16 thru 7/23 to do Rig weighing.
We are going to do it a little differently from last year to avoid any bottlenecks at the entrance. Al will be staying in Site 12 with his rig and site 11 next to the North Pavilion will remain open for weighing. This is a pull-through and will make it easy for you to get the rig weighed on your way into your site and then come back over with the truck later to get it done. We're thinking this will make everything flow much better.
If you would like to get your rig weighed, please contact Al directly so that he knows when you are due in and can schedule. You can email him at arp43a@gmail.com
If you have not weighed your Rig, I encourage everyone to do so. You'll probably be a bit surprised

Sounds GREAT!!! Thanks for setting this up and should work much better.
I weighed in 15 but not 16 since the other guy was not set up and it was mid day when we pulled in. Was not worth it to me to hook up again when he finally opened. Sounds like this will work much better.

Cost went up some but there are some major changes. Dinner is supplied Wednesday Thursday and Friday nights and we will have breakfast pastries every day Wednesday thru Saturday in the tent. Also have a 60's 70's sock hop rock band Friday night after dinner.

Didn't mean the Rally cost.... That's worth it to us.
I meant the weighing cost.

Here is the Smartweigh info for the Rally:
Smartweigh will be available again this year !!
Al Peterson from Escapees Smartweigh will be on site at the Rally from July 16th ~ July 23rd. As you know, the actual Rally dates are the 19th ~ 22nd. Most people leave either Sunday the 23rd or Monday the 24th. We will have it set up this year so that there is a dedicated pull-through site available for the weighing process. Hopefully no bottlenecks at the entrance.
With this thought in mind, we are encouraging as many people as possible to schedule weighing the rig on your way into the site. You then stop back over to weigh the truck only and he can go over all the findings and advise you. Appointments for weighing upon arrival are available from 7/16 through the morning of 7/19. Starting on the afternoon of the 19th, he will have a sign up table in the tent and can schedule your truck to be weighed and then do the rig when you depart. Weigh times are available in 1/2 hour increments.
Please contact Al directly by email arp43a@gmail.com to schedule. He does accept cash, check, and credit cards. The fee is $55.00.
The email should have subject "Redwood Rally" and include the following:
Name
Phone number
Arrival date
Estimated arrival time.
This weighing is an individual wheel weigh. More accurate than a CAT Scale as you will know side to side differences and individual wheel weights.

Rally Disc Brake Conversions
We will again be attending the 2017 Redwood National Rally.
I will have our installers there to do disc brake installations from 2/17-2/22. We will leave the 23rd and 24th open for final test drives as you pull out.
Pricing is the same as last year, $2450 installed on tandem 7k or 8k axles.
I would encourage you to schedule with me asap as we will have limited time available.
