A Fall Redwood Gathering ?
We're currently traveling in Virginia and North Carolina in the Shenandoah and Blue Ridge. Have found two parks that we want to come back to in the Fall and wondered if any Redwoodies would like to join us.
We're thinking First week of October for foliage colors and some Festivals that are going on.
Endless Caverns RV Park is really nice, wooded, nice sites and right in the middle of the Shenandoah Valley and the Skyline Drive. The other one is just outside of Asheville, NC and is literally on the top of a mountain. Mama Gerties RV park. The drive up is steep and will give you a pucker factor but the view from our site is below......

Vaughn,
We stayed at the Shenandoah NP last year around the beginning of fall and got completely inundated with stick bugs. Literally hundreds of them all over the camper, in the rubber seals around the slides, everywhere. Took a full day to get them off enough of the top of the slides under the slide toppers to be able to pull things in without getting them all over the inside. Still had dozens of them everywhere for months.
Hope its not that bad this year.

You should have seen what I had to do to teach the RW and the Dually to hang upside down ............

I'll be in the Ashville, Waynesville area all of October and would travel over to meet up with a group.
If your looking for a campground in that area Creekwood farms rv park is second to none.
