ABQ Balloon Fiesta

Great replies from everyone that answered on my last thread ref. RE or RL. Just wondering is anyone going to Balloon Fiesta? My wife and I would like to meet some members. We headed out of Denver yesterday and stayed at Lathrop State Park and it was fantastic. Great views and very nice sites. I am ready to do this full-time for the next couple of years. I would attach a picture but how no idea how.

Went to balloon fest YEARS ago when in my first Class c with a cj-8 behind it,
pulling those ridges was FUN !!!

What campground do you use for the festival?

We are leaving Saturday, staying in Santa Fe for the week. This will be our first time to go to the balloon festival and our first trip of any length in our RW! Can't wait for the cooler weather!

We went several years ago and stayed at the festival grounds just off the balloon field. It was pricey but worth it as we could walk down to the field or sit in our lawn chairs and watch it from our camp site. One of our best trips!

Was at the festival last year and I remember that in the AM you had better dress warm or be a polar bear! It was just bone chillin cold, but what a sight! Fantastic

We arrived this morning and staying on the grounds in the Fantasy RV area (South RV Parking area). We'll be here till the 10th. We're in row 21 site 20 (right on the end of the row). There's an RW ToyHauler here and another RL or RE (haven't touched base yet).
