Well ....... looks like our winter plans may be changing. After the Tampa RV Show in January , friends in Tucson have asked us if there is any way to come visit. We're thinking a leisurely swing out along the southern coast and then maybe 10 days or so in Tucson.

Any advice if this is doable towards the end of February and also suggestions that we might try for a week or 10 days stay. As always, thanks in advance and all polite suggestions are appreciated !!

Once you decide when/where/how long you'll need to get your reservstion this area fills up with us snowbirds.
We're in a smaller park about 45 minutes west of Tucson & the manager said today they are filling up after the 1st of November.

We live in an RV park in Phoenix, but have made short stays at the places below. Make reservations as soon as you can. We already have snowbirds starting to come into our park and will stay through March - April.

- Lazy Days in Tucson: Haven't stayed there since they became a KOA.
Tucson, Arizona Campground | Tucson / Lazydays KOA

- Tombstone Territories RV Resort: It's not in Tucson but close enough to explore Tucson, Tombstone, Bisbee, Karchner Caverns, and other things in the area. We're going here for Thanksgiving. The park is doing a pot luck where they are fixing the turkey and ham, and residents and visitors are to bring everything else.

The last two years we have spent Jan. and Feb. at Palm Creek Golf and RV resort in Casa Grande. Nice park with lots to do. We are going back this year. It is about 1/2 way between Tucson and Phoenix.
