Camping near Ft Myers FL in February
Anybody got any ideas of a CG we can get into in the Ft Myers area the last 2 weeks of February ?

Robert: We will be at Sanctuary RV Resort in Bonita Springs from Jan 24 till Mar 8th. This is a fairly new place probably 20 miles south of Ft Myers. We will be in site 118. Also, we have friends who were able to get in at Woodsmoke in Ft. Myers. Please stop by if you are in the area. Ken

Thanks for the info, we have stayed at Woodsmoke CG before but nothing is available during that time period, the best we were able to confirm is a reservation at Sanctuary RV Resort from March 1st to March 14th

This season appears to be a bonus for Florida Campgrounds as many are reporting no vacancy, especially for Jan to March. Friends just made reservations for Feb & Mar here in Sebring, but it's not an RW Friendly park, with very narrow sites and streets.

January and February are always difficult anywhere in South Florida as these are the peak months for Snow Birds.
A few sites start opening up in March but many Campgrounds are full through March too.

It looks like a "U" turn is needed to get in to Sanctuary RV Resort. Did you have any problems making that turn?

No problem there is a wide turning lane stay in the left lane after exiting 75
|

Our plans have changed, we canceled our reservations at Sanctuary RV Resort.
Right now not sure what the next few months will bring, Debra got some bad news from Dr's today, we will be taking it one day at the time for the next few weeks.

We are heading up to Tallahassee FL on Sunday and will meet with Surgeons on Monday and determine a action plan.
