Camping near Sarasota FL

Since my father in laws passing , I believe we will be making more trips to the area or spend time with mom in law..
We were here this summer and stayed at the encor park in Bradenton, but was not at all impressed with the park.
Does anyone have any nice places to stay right near Sarasota? We looked at a park called Sarasota Sunny today,, it was ok , clean but small.. It was sandwiched in between 2 neighborhoods and the outside sites were accesed by the main road in the neighborhoods...
There has to be other parks that are close and clean???

We have stayed at Sun and Fun off Fruitville Road a couple of times, it is ok

There's are KOA'S in Venice & St Petersburg .......short distance away from Sarasota. Never been to those, but we've always been happy when staying at KOA'S (Campground of America) in general. Check em out.

Fiesta Grove RV in Palmetto is a great RV park. Staff super and very clean and everything works. Pool good, lots of activities. The only negative is 55+ but we did not have a problem even if we are a bit younger. Checked the other ones close to Sarasota, but to small spots and not so good reviews. Read campgroundreviews.com.

We drove around Sun & Fun today and liked it... There seems to be a lot to do there ( for the kids ) and it's only 11 minutes door to door yo mom in law...
I think it may be a winner..
