Disney in March

Just made my reservation for Disney's Fort Wilderness camp grounds for March. By staying in the RV compared to the hotels, it is 1/3 what I normally spend. That's cool. My biggest concern, other then backing in, is how do I get the cool little soaps and shampoo's I normally get in the hotel room. Also what about housekeeping and turn down service?

hahaha! My Redwood is stuffed with little shampoos and soaps from the Marriott when I travel. That's why Dory named it the Maryott on the license plates.

This is what we just couldn't figure out at Fort Wilderness. The place is spotless, and I mean spotless. We never, ever, saw anyone cleaning the place. We're still of the opinion that elves dropped out of the trees in the evening while we were sleeping and did all of the dirty work.

Just be sure to tell them your in a large rv. Our first time there in our 35' SOB it took me 45 minutes to back in with palm trees on each side & some kind of post in front & backing from the blind side, but once in it was a beautiful site.

In past I always made reservations online. Fortunately, this time I had trouble making online reservations so I called. Good thing I did. Online it does not ask about the size or slideouts, awnings. The person that took my reservation over the phone asked about all three without prompting.

Therefore, for the campground, I will be making my reservations via the phone.

It's actually amazing how they keep all their properties so clean. It is the happiest place on earth.

We were at Disney / Fort Wilderness a couple of months ago for a week, it was nice.
Looking at my schedule for 2016, looks like I may be able to schedule another couple of "Working" weeks at Disney / Fort Wilderness in February or March
