East Coast travel question

We have headed South from CT. for many years now and I no longer take 95 until I get just before Fredericksburg VA. Headed South is no problem for our one night layover in Enfield,NC. Question is headed back home. We take 95 back to Fredericksburg and head off on 17 to 66 to 81 to 84. So what I am looking for is a campground that is RW accessible with pull trough sites well onto 81 or 84 headed back North before I get to far into NY. This would be a good stopping point for one night on the way home. Any suggestions and not to far off the highway!
We have been stopping in Fredericksburg but I would like to put on more miles so the second day is a short one.

Steve

Steve...not sure I understand the question. Are you looking for a place close to F'burg, or close to the NYS line?

Closer to the NY line.
I guess it is a bit confusing.

We've stayed at a place just south of F'burg, a KOA in Hagerstown and a decent place just off I81 near Chambersburg. Let me know if any of those spots work and I'll get you more info. They all worked for us as good stopovers.

We have stopped at Falling Waters, West Virginia. It's just before entering PA

Steve...my apologies. I got my "C's" confused. The campground is in Carlisle, not Chambersburg. As you know, Carlisle is a tad closer to the NYS line, but still a bit of a hike. The place is Western Village RV Park:
Western Village RV Park - A Clean and Quiet Pennsylvania Family Campground

Very close to I81 but not "KOA close". It's a Good Sam park as well, if that matters. Again, this is not a destination park, but it is more than adequate. Just sorry it isn't closer to NY. We've stayed here on two separate occasions for trips going West. Good luck and be safe.
