Food and Wine Festival in Disney.

This is a trip my wife and I take every year, now that the kids are grown. It's Disney, on steroids, for adults. This isn't a Disney trip you would compare to one where you take kids. If you haven't tried the festival, I fully recommend it. While we fully intend to take the RW someday, we just fly down at present. Has anybody ever stayed at Disney's RV resort? If so, how was your experience?

Do you mean Ft. Wilderness Resort Campground? It is an awsome campground, possible one of the best. We always rent a golf cart, they really don't encourage motor vehicles in the campground. They have the usual buses for transportation to any Disney location. The campsites are really nice, with full-hookups, of course. They have premium sites for your big Redwood 5th wheel.

We have stayed at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort many times through out the years in all sorts of RVs from PopUps with our daughter was little to large 5th Wheels in recent years.
About a year and half ago we stayed at Disney's Fort Wilderness during the off season for 3 months working in the area.
We stayed in a preferred site up near the lake, we got to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks across the lake every night for 3 months.
Since we are still legally Florida Residents, we got the Florida Residents discount which at the time was pretty good.
Since Fort Wilderness at Disney World was built in the early 70s, a lot of the sites are small and some of the roads are tight for a 5th Wheel as big as most Redwoods.
We have not been to Disney in our current Redwood but our previous SOB 5th Wheel was 41 Ft long and we stayed there many times in it.
