My first weekend in the new RW 31SL

This is the results of the first weekend out with my new 31SL. We got to the campground and set up without a problem, It's pretty cold in Pa. this time of year so all systems were running and everything was on.
This is the few glitches we ran into.
The satellite TV system installed by the dealer has a problem no way to figure it out because it could have been just that the dish couldn't see through the trees.
I got ready to take a shower, turned on the water and no water. I yelled every four letter word I knew got dressed and ran out to see where the leak might be only to find the campground lost there pump.
This morning I went to the office to hear all the people complaining about their water lines being frozen. We didn't have that problem at all. The shower this morning was fine no slush in the lines at all.
Lastly my wife saw me relaxing in the recliner and decided to try out the other one next to me. She said how do you make it recline. I said pull the lever. She said what lever. So here's the only problem with the rig on our first trip out. There is no lever, someone forgot to put a lever on the other recliner. Funny as heck. I looked and turned both chairs over side by side and one chair never had the recline lever installed. I thought it was pretty funny, but this weekend that was our only mishap.
It was a great weekend. I hope this week flies by as I can't wait to get there again.

We have been in Tucson for the last 6 weeks or so, with our new 31SL. So far we have a few cosmetic things to get taken care of, but thankfully nothing major.
I spent the last two days waxing mine, it is tall.
I hope that your good fortune continues, and the recliner situation is resolved promptly.

The best news to hear when you have no water is it is the parks problem

Too weird on the recliner.

All things considered the rig performed flawlessly. I still think the recliner was a funny thing and I'm sure it will be taken care of, in the meantime I gave my wife a wrench. LOL
Beancounter: I stepped back more than once to look at the rig and take pictures as far as waxing it I hope there's a detail company around it looks like it would take to long to wax and I don't want to buy a ladder.

Congrats on the new rig and many good times in it.
I got lucky with the wax part - the dealer that does all my service for me has a wash/wax program for his regular service clients. Each year my girl gets a wash, hand wax, and paint sealant applied for $400. I figure that is a no-brainer.

BeanCounter...congrats on the new 31SL. Did you get it at Lazy Days? We bought our new 2014 36RE there and love it also. Kathleen Boughman was our delivery specialist and was fantastic! Enjoy the new baby!

That's one good thing about Southern Texas. Got mine washed and waxed on site for $120.

Yes, what dealer do you use. It may be close enough for others to use for service. I would like to see more Redwood owners mention a great dealer when they find one. It may prevent many headaches for other owners who have experienced terrible dealers. I'm not promoting badmouthing dealers that do not live up to our expectations bud a Kudos program would be great to recognize those that do.

Hi Rick

Chesaco RV in Joppa , MD. Just a bit north of Baltimore on US 40.
Not my selling dealer but is a Crossroads dealer. Great service staff and technicians. If/when I go from the Redwood to a MH it will be from them based on the service I've gotten. It also helps that they are a Tiffin dealer and that is what I would buy in any case.

Kind of far for me since I am in Louisiana but I'm sure it will help others in that area. We love the Tiffin Phaeton, looked at some used ones before we decided to stick with a fifth wheel. We knew someone that had one and loved it. Thanks for the info, If I ever get up that way will have to check it out.
