New I-65 bridge in Louisville
The new bridge on I-65 in Louisville Ky is now open, north bond uses the new bridge and the south bond uses the old bridge for now.

That is good to know as we will be crossing that bridge headed south in a couple of weeks.

Guy...if you're staying on I65 south to Nashville, make sure you keep an eye on signage approaching the bridge. Get into your appropriate lane as early as possible. It can get crazy. And please, don't hit the bridges at rush hour.

We will be going through Louisville, KY on Saturday, December 26 about noon, so, hopefully everyone will still be at home on the day after Christmas. I generally take it fairly slow going through Louisville until I get to the south side of town. Hopefully, the signage is still good enough to get us where we need to go to stay on I-65. Plus, I have had double cataract surgeries this summer and fall, and, I can now see the signs a lot further out ahead!!!

Danny..........thanks for the sentiments. We are starting to get the Redwood packed and will be finishing that this next week so we can relax the week of Christmas. I am looking forward to getting on the road again.
