Has anyone taken their camper on to the beach at the North end of the island (just south of Corpus Christi)? When I was there last, I recall hard packed sand for quite a few miles but that time I was in a car. I know that our trailer tires can cut soft ground like a knife through butter. Not too excited that we have this opportunity over a major holiday weekend but some dates can't be controlled.
