One of my favorite RW 2015 Upgrades

I don't think anyone showed this yet, but this is one of my very FAVORITE upgrades in the 2015's. There is TONS of storage behind the TV in the LR in the 38RL!! I can fit my laptop/charger in here and a small printer and all of our DVD's and whatever else. It's AWESOME!! EXCELLENT IDEA REDWOOD!! The outlet inside makes it really great.

So jealous. That is an awesome use of that space. Liking the soundbar below the TV too.

Wow, great use of space. Wish it was available on the 2013's.

Is it an option or does it come standard on all coaches?

Hmmm! Would make a nice area to hide the adult beverages. I knew there was a lot of space back there from when I was running HDMI cables. Only issue with ours would be the TV bracket, completely different on the 13s.

I know, you could put all manor of Pirate's booty back there!!! NOBODY would know it was there. Best part is, I can open the TV with ONE FINGER and it swings right out easily. It's truly awesome.

That storage area is in our 2104 38GK, but wasn't in the 2013 models I've seen on line. I agree that it's smart use of space. I can fit all my external hard drives back there, plus a bottle or two of hooch! One week until we take delivery now! However, we don't have the sound bar ... speakers still in the ceiling! Perhaps we can utilize the Boze sound bar we use at home...

Looks like Redwood does running changes as needed instead of waiting for a model year change.

TNT you officially suck for showing me what I'm missing! That would be so useful.

Makes me think that without that space (as mine is) would be a good place to put a wall safe...

40" in our 38GK ... More than large enough, since you're sitting only six feet away!

TNTBaker.... Does yours have the textured paint finish on the front (Generator compartment door, etc)? I love that on mine.

Which brings up a question. On my Rushmore, my satellite receiver sits on the desk under the TV. Is there a good place for it in the 36rl? The desk on this Rushmore is huge, and has plenty of room. The receiver is 18 x12 in.

Jerry, not sure how much of a change in my 13 and yours, but the compartment over the tv houses my LG DVD player and satellite receiver. Removed the glass and put int radiator screen to let the heat out.

YES, we have that! You're right, I love it too. Just looks more upscale and will likely wear better. It's a tough area to keep shiny!

I have that area behind the tv in my 2014. No sound bar though, have the little speakers mounted to the ceiling. But yes it is a great area to store phones, iPads, and all sorts of goodies.

The one question I have is Were are they hiding the sub woofer. In case that thing goes out it would be nice to know how to get to it
