Our trip home

I have been on work assignment in Richland WA and two weeks ago my wife flew out and we have been taking our time to drive home. Our first stop was Moab Utah. Where we went to four corners and Monument Valley the first day on the second day we did Arches and Canyonlands. From there we drove to Holbrook AZ and took in the painted dessert and the petrified forest. Then we drove to Williams AZ and met our daughter and son-in-law. We took the train from there to the Grand Canyon and back.

We followed the kids to Phoenix to see their place. From there we followed old route 66 for a couple of days and then we stopped in Decatur IL to check on our parents and grandkids. We also saw our other kids and my brothers.
It was very good trip.

Where did you put the Redwood in Richland? Im there about 2 weeks a month courtesy of UA and Hilton, but thought with it being summer I might take the Redwood and do something similar to what you just did.

Sounds like good trip, we are heading that way in late July. Had to chuckle when reading about the laundromat & showers, it's like looking at rv reviews, was looking for the stars. Both of items are in my RW.

Brad, Columbia Sun Rv Resort in Kennewick is a beautiful park, not sure how much commute you would have going into Richland.

I have a washer and dryer as well, but when I am working 14 - 15 hours a day six days a week I want to get the clothes done as faster as I can. Some of the cycles on the RV washer take forever.

sounds great! can't wait to get out west! hubby just retired, I still work, and taking a 3 week vaca to get to SD and ND this September....will be stopping in WI on way home to see his Mom and Sister. we've seen eastern half of USA - can do in a 2 week vaca. have 16 more states to see and we'll be happy (someday list is to see 49 of 50 states and have 33 seen now). have heard Utah is spectacular - like I said can't wait!

Glad to hear about a successful and fun trip! If you took any pictures- we'd love to see them and share them with other RW owners on Facebook!
