Actually on most redwoods the battery disconnect does NOT disconnect and will kill all your batteries...
Why redwood decided they need to do that differently from any other mfg is very curious have heard all kinds of 'excuses' no real reasons, but it is what it is...
Many have rewired so it does isolate the batteries...
Maybe a small solar trickle charger might help ? http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss...+c%2Caps%2C287
get two and angle them two different ways to allow that white stuff to slide off

If no power is available for trickle charger, an inexpensive solar panel will keep a GOOD battery up. Harbor freight has on sale for 14.99. The panel can be mounted permately, not having to worry about any damage to it or coach, or zip tie to pin box and use alligator clips. I have been using the small panels for several years on lawnmowers, farm equipment, work trucks, ect. With great reaults. Remember to disconnect battery or turn off switch for long periods as trailer electronics will slow drain battery.

I don't think Redwood is unique in this John. My Montana was the same way - slides, landing gear, forward equipment operated with master switch OFF.

As you can tell the montana is one I've not owned,
I just haven't run into it before in any of my previous rv's which have been legions !
sorry to single them out but in my universe they were the one !

I used these guys when I put my system together. Their prices were pretty close to the best I could find and they have a roofbox that they make for the RV that's perfect. Big fan!

The one in Springfield has an ATM in case you don't have cash, I would imagine the other stores do too.

Bad time to buy my new RW
We just purchased our new RW about three weeks ago. Now it sits in storage until April. Having this beautiful new 5th wheel and only spent two days in it before putting it in storage really is a bummer. Maybe I should have waited until March to purchase, but couldn't pass up the good deal I got.

I don't remember exactly when we ordered ours last year but it showed up mid February and we wouldn't be able to use it until April 1st. I was so anxious I couldn't stand it. We would go down to the dealer to load stuff up every so often to touch it and sit in it. But april first showed up and it was worth the wait.
I feel your pain but April will get here fast I hope. Ours is away for the winter and we are waiting for April again.

Ours came in March, and the 2 before that in January. Must be when I get the whim to go looking.
By the time June came - I had really gone over mine and installed everything I wanted to install, so don't let that idle time go to waste

We camped in ours as soon as it came in @ the end of Sept... just in time to put it back in the service dept for 3 months to attempt to fix the issues (:
but we are in the 'sowth', so more chances to camp...
