Articeman - both of the 'tabs' are user configurable,
click the direction tab on the bottom right to select what you want to show there...
You can also change the Dashboard [bar at the bottom] to show four data fields instead of two...
From the main menu touch Settings --> Map & Vehicle --> Dashboards, then scroll through the different options.
