Washer hoses repaired, new vac outlet (pics)

WOW Todd was busy today, and definitely earned some points with
He installed the vac outlet in the basement so we can use it for the truck and the basement and whatever. Did a great job, thanks to Atom Ant for the great inspiration and good pics and instructions!

THEN we took the bed apart and got the parts at the hardware store and fixed the TERRIBLE installation of the washer hoses under the bed. Again, if you haven't checked your hoses under your bed in your RL and RE's I WOULD. Ours were TIGHT TIGHT TIGHT when the slide was IN. PLUS they were catching badly on the framework when the slide operated. (See BasilFawlty's video) Matter of time before they let go or started leaking. Feels good not to be worried about that now. THANKS TODD!!!!

all finished:

From the looks of my '15 36 rl, it looks like there is way more than enough hose to move with the slide. I don't have the slide in a slide, so that might be the difference. I just took a quick look under the bed, so I'll look closer this weekend. Mine looks nothing like your pictures.

Edit: Pulled the slide in and took a look, plenty of extra hose, and nothing appeared to be in a bind.

Steve worked on the vac. system in the basement today also they had it screwed so tight he couldn't get into the compartment, and when he did it took over an hour to get it working properly. But it's done
