We Got MORryded Out West! NOT In Indiana!
HI everyone!
We got our MORryde IS system installed, and WOW are we happy! It's everything everyone has said about it here on the forum, so thanks for that.
I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that for those of us out west, you CAN get the job done in Oregon!! We did, and we are thrilled with the place that did it. I wrote a blog post about it if you want to learn more, but JUST FYI: You do not have to travel to Indiana (which for us would have had to wait another year or so). Here is the blog post: THE ROMANY LIFE: Our New MORryde Suspension Installation At Henderson's Line Up In Grants Pass, Oregon
Hurray! Now we are not OVER our weight capacity. New H rated tires next and let the PEACE begin.

We have only traveled about 300 miles on it so far, eager to try it some more. January we are going to head down to Quartzite so that ought to do it!

You'll find that between the IS, disc brakes and H rated tires, your whole outlook on traveling changes as the suspension and tires are no longer an issue in the back of your mind. You'll also find that as long as the spring rates are right (a bit of a guessing game and sometimes you have to change them afterwards for a different durometer rating to get the ride just right) hardly anything moves around. We stopped taking the coffee maker and toaster oven off the counter a long time ago. Unless I've done a panic stop or we've been in some godawful roads, they don't move. The bathroom medicine cabinet stuff stays in place too ...
Best money we ever spent on the coach. After more than 30k miles with it, I'll never own another fifth wheel without the IS and Disc.

Thanks Vaughan; Yes, we can already sense the difference while driving with respect to safety... We worried a lot about it, and it impacts your travel experience. Constantly on the alert for something amiss... I expect it will take a while to "relax" to normal levels. SO glad we did this!

So how is it on "Whoop-de-doos"? A term I learned from you

In my opinion there isn't anything you can do for those BIG Whoop-de-doos, but you can make them more manageable.
