We just left the Rapid City area two days ago. We were there for 3 nights at Americas Mailbox changing our residency. Beautiful area, but did get some hail on day 2.

I've stayed here at Custer RV park, which is right at the entrance to the park, but it is pretty far south from the heads and Deadwood.
