2019 3901 wb

Picking our 2019 3901 wb next Thursday...question is ...the auto level control is behind the doors where the water connection and filter and dump valves are...how do you run the system as when you are hooking up to your vehicle as you cannot run system and see hitch in truck... is it also controlled through the incommand system or it takes 2 people one spotter and one controller...I hate the way they change stuff up if it works leave it alone..

You can run the front jacks with the In Command system. So it can be done by yourself.

Just took delivery of 2019 3091wb a couple weeks back and have not found the location to be an issue but thought it was in a bad location. Not tried the iN·command for this. Only used the RV for a few days, just ran out of warm weather in MI.
Do have an issue with the kitchen slide damaging the floor registers; their fix was slide slickers but I’m not sold on this. Let me know how yours is dealt with.

Will do ...looks like the only permanent fix would be to router them out and have them counter sunk...Get ours Thursday...

Dealer had damaged all three when they identified the problem to Redwood. I agree this could have been avoided by routering to lower, just not see it can be done now with linoleum in place. Dealer tells me the linoleum must float for expansion and contraction.

My registers are and we’re screwed down when the dealer damaged them, upon realizing what they had done they contacted Crossroads for a fix; they sent new registers and three of the slide slickers. Could be some bottom seals are tighter to the floor than others I suppose.

Personally I don't think the slides are as delicate as some dealers would try to scare you about! We have, with our RW & other rvs, always extended the slides while stopping at rest areas for lunch without leveling & so far in 10 years of fulltiming have had NO slide issues.

Here's some food for thought:
When you level your unit, the old way with blocks under the tires and jacks for and aft or by using the Level-up system. You're putting pressure on the frame, should be equal, but who knows for sure.
But if you're just in a Rest Area sitting on just the wheels and king pin, not to much extra pressure on the frame.
So which is better for moving the slides??
Now the disclaimer would be if you were on a side hill with an excess lean to one side, then it might cause an issue.

Does yours have the power cord on a reel....ours does but only has retract switch position have to pull out cord manually....spent 4 hours at dealer to day going over everything..the tech was great....they had it hooked up and on line everything worked ran slide in and out 5 cycles floor vents were not an issue...power cord reel kinda surprised me but no biggy...also had big direct tv sat installed on roof it even worked...so far so good...guess only dislike is lights that are controlled by incommand system....prefer old way with switches....

Our 2018 34RL has the same power reel for the shore power line with a two way toggle switch. Press up the line powers in and down the reel reverses and out it goes. Maybe the switch on your unit is not functioning correctly.

on my "16", I only have a one way switch.. I manually pull out the cable, and use the motor to pull it back in.

Seems like a power out switch could make a "reel" mess, pardon the pun
