Amish Recliners!

Just wanted to post a pic of our new recliners and table we received today from an Amish company located out of Shipshewana, Indiana. When we went to pick up our fiver from the Service Center we made the mistake of looking at Amish made furniture and absolutely fell in love with these. We bought a his and hers. The cherry table has 3 drawers and the top lifts for storage of remotes or whatever. Plan on selling our 2 recliners that came with the Redwood. I think the material we chose will match our Loveseat perfectly! If anyone is interested when they are at the rally, PM me and I will give you more info and no, I'm not getting any kind of kickback.

Great looking chairs! and love that center unit! Wonder if I can get the center unit shipped? Does it match your décor well?

I've been thinking about building something out of Cherry for between our two recliners, but that set up looks really nice. Do you have a contact in Indiana, maybe we can ship a number of them here to CO if the price is right.

Yes, you can get the table shipped. We had all three pieces shipped to our home in Louisiana. We have not been able to get them to the Redwood yet so I can't say for sure that the wood and the color of fabric is an exact match but I'll bet it's close. Our Redwood has the dark wood so the dark cherry we picked for the table and chairs should blend in with no problem. We took a swatch of material from our original recliners so we could match the color of the loveseat since we don't plan on replacing that. The recliners are narrower than the original and that is why we purchased the table. They also offer a narrower table but it has a door front instead of 3 individual drawers. Yes, the recliners are kind of a Ma and Pa recliner. My wife is short and always complains about the recliners so when she found this "Ladies" model she was sold. They both cost the same and they are swivel wallhuggers but not rockers. They pattern the two recliners differently so that if someone calls about a problem with the chair they will no which one by the number of seems it has, clever huh? If you have them shipped you save the sales tax, if you order and pick up there you pay sales tax but no shipping.

We were able to get the new recliners into the Redwood today. The backs come off fairly easy on both the Redwood recliners and the Amish recliners. I think they are both similar in weight. The color of the new ones is a slight bit more red than the original but they look great in the fifth wheel. The table is slightly darker than the wood in the Redwood but that's what's nice about hardwoods, colors vary which make it interesting. It's amazing that we were able to put the two new recliners and the table between them in the same dinette slide and we have more room for the dinette chairs. That's worth every penny! And the new ones swivel which the old wouldn't do. I took pictures, got home and realized we didn't have the card in the camera. Sorry, will retake soon and post.

Rick - when at the Rally we are looking for a theatre configuration with 2 recliners for our 36FL. Do you know if they had anything like that.

They had lots of options that you could look at in their showroom which is not far from Shipshewana South. They say sometimes you can order today and pick up in 2 days. If you google Lambright Comfort chairs several websites come up and they show that type of configuration. I seem to remember seeing something like that but we were not looking for that, we were looking for recliners. You could also call them at 260-768-4820 and ask them.

OH that looks Sweeet! They go perfect! and I love the wood on the chairs. I assume you got them because they are more comfortable, and perhaps actual leather?

Looks like plenty of room, and possible room for a lamp on the side table!
