Awning
Went to put rear awning out, motor side stops after about a foot, other side works normal. It will retract.
Wondering is this a motor problem or maybe a strut issue, anyone have this happen?

I would check the strut and also the track that the rollers are in. Spray the rollers with Green CRC

Check the wires in the motor end & while you have the cover off check & lube the gears.

I had my bedroom slide do this after our trip to RI. I had to turn off the 12vdc power and shore power . That cleared the motor memory , They learn how many turns it takes to extent and retract . I think also if you stop and start it moving again it plays games with the motors . push and hold the button .

Check the wires to the motor.....I had an awning act up and found the wires had been routed poorly and it caused a pinch point...also on the same awning (the one on the slide) they had not left enough wire so the plug was pulled at a crazy angle....I had to extend the wires and heat shrink everything....now the plug goes in straight and the water seal "O" ring works as it should....

Our front awning occasionally opens on one side and not the other (the front side of the awning). I use a awning rod to pull on the arm on the side that doesn't open, that unrolls that side. Cause is a slight jam between the arm and the bracket, if I would re-align the fabric it would probably solve the problem.
