Heard rumors this park might be closed because the reservoir is holding back floodwater so decided to go look. Had to laugh, the people are not going to stand for that! About our 3rd 90 degree day without rain all day and Fathers Day weekend! People will Make Do!

I like the idea of being able to tie the boat off to the picnic table! Now they just need a couple of bikini clad Sonic servers running around with food trays on Jet Skis

Many lakes in our area west of Kansas City are flooded and have partial or total campground closings. Ponoma Lake, where we were when out jacks failed, usually covers 4000 acres. A couple of weeks ago the area covered by water was at 125,000 acres.
