Meeting new friends

Ginny and I landed in a small campground near the Illinois/Iowa border. On the way to our assigned camping spot I noticed a new Redwood with a new F450 sitting next to it.

After setting everything up and dinner we made our way over to introduced ourselves. The rest of the evening was spent drinking wine around a warm glowing fire with our new friends from California (Kathy and Mike). They have a beautiful 2015 36RL with the light interior.

The friendships built around a fire will last a lifetime and is one of the many reasons why we camp. Its always nice to run into folks that share in the small joys of life in a very complicated world. Life is good

Yep - that is why we decided to sell the house and hit the road as well. We also do volunteer work which helps slow the pace down and it forces you to experience the local culture for a set period of time. We have met some very wonderful people on the road over the past 2.5 years.
