Not your average work camper opportunity
Most here know I have had a unique opportunity to travel and help other RV’rs and I am looking to create a similar opportunity for others. There are over 150 RV shows primarily from January to March. If I’m lucky I can do 10. There are another 200+ rallies a year. This year I am scheduled for 17. There are numerous other opportunities for the race car fan, the horse enthusiast and the ATV’er. Anything that has electric brakes can be converted to disc.
I am looking for some input from you that may have interest in how to structure and manage something like this.
Feel free to call me 405-626-7009 or stop by one of the shows. By the way, I am not looking to work harder!
My goal is to have a plan and people in place for Jan 2017 Shows

I like meeting and helping people.
If I was not working fulltime currently, I would like an opportunity like that.
I am trying to figure out what I am going to do to keep me entertained when I get close to retirement.
Although current employer has asked if I would be interested in a consulting position after I retire.

Most of what I do is very easy. Nothing really complicated in the disc brake system, very easily explainable for a salesman/public speaker etc. at an RV Show or in a seminar. The real money is in the installation, $1,000 for 10 hrs. work. I have done the install myself and kept the install money. I have gone to Jiffy Lube and paid a wrench turner $200 to help and I have installers who get 100% of the labor but they travel hundreds of miles to do the installs. I have an installer on his way back from NC & SC where he did 3 installs. I think having installers working a smaller area is preferable.
I am thinking having someone in an established geographic area or areas that runs the area as his own business with me supplying product, RV Show booth space, advertising/display materials etc. I would only generate an income if product is sold.

Ron,
you need to look at a "Licensing" or "Distribution" agreement.

Ron,
Are you the only Titan rep in the field, or are there others you compete with? Is there anyone at Denver next week, like Jim's Trailer? (I think you said Quartzite for you)

I was not technically a "Titan Rep" I was a consultant and paid per a contract. I own Performance Trailer Braking which is a master distributor for Titan products. There were other Titan Field Rep's but they concentrated on large wholesalers and OEM's primarily in the marine industry.
All of the "Titan Reps" have been let go by Dexter so currently it is the Sales Manager and myself from the marketing side.
So, there will be no one at the Denver show from Titan/Dexter.
