Stars & fall colors

I believe this is my favorite time of year for camping. The afternoons are filled with color and the night sky seems a little clearer. This past week end we took our son and granddaughters camping. My son was playing with his camera late at night.

That was taken in Illinois last Saturday night. The shutter was set at 30 seconds with a 18 fish eye lens.

That night we couldn't see those stars with the naked eye but the lens picked them up.

You have to buy a RV for what you're going to use it for. I loved my Redwood but it no longer fit our needs due to the amount of time spent on the road. For some people the 5th wheel is the best option but for us it wasn't. With that said though......there is a tremendous difference in build quality and I believe some of this is because of weight issues. The 5th wheels have to keep their weight down so they can be pulled by the trucks. The bus has it's own power plant and this isn't an issue. For example......I had to remove my bathroom door. It weighs every bit of 80 lbs because it's 2 inches thick and SOLID wood (not particle board or plywood). The 5th wheel doors are hollow and I would guess weigh around 15 lbs.

This comparison goes all through the coach when it comes to weight. and construction. BUT again.....A MH isn't good at sitting still.

I really like the look of the Entegras. I went to a RV show in OR this weekend and if I was traveling more I would get a Anthem. But for now I am sticking with the RW until we get to Travel more then we might go back to the Pusher. Sweet Ride you have Dave

If I spent 250000 on a fver I could have the same quality. I would need a Pete to pull it

Brad, that looks GREAT. Redwood should buy that picture from you to use in their marketing.
