There's isn't a perfect RV or a perfect truck.

Not really! Just watching College Football and surfing.

One interesting observation though. At least in the west I see more Fords, followed closely by Dodges and very few Chevy's pulling the bigger 5th wheels around. Although I'm currently in Oklahoma where the older Dodges and newer Chevy's reign for some reason.

Just think - if we didn't offer the bailouts and let two of the big three fold like they should of, Ford might offer the Cummins with the Allison and we would have nothing to argue about anymore

Was just thinking about that as I bought TurboTax..........

There's a little rif-raf for you Jerry - sorry I was late.

Could you imagine what would have happened IF GM would have gone down. I think the way it was handled was a sham but fear what might have happened otherwise. My best guess is that GM would still be around in some form but only with a few models that actually made money. Who knows about Dodge/Chrysler. They seemed to have had problems for many, many years now. Fiat likely saved them regardless of the bailout.

Come on now. If it's not a dodge then Ram it!! I have owned all three and ford in my eyes back then was a strong contender over the government made truck. I have since then owned 6 dodges and all have made improvements on top of each other. I do own a duramax with Allison dually and yes it stays at the ranch for dry roads because it can't pull itself out of a cow pie. My ram has taken me were I need it to dry, wet, or Sandy coast. To each their own but for me I will not pass up on a ram for those reasons. It's a puller with a six cylinder not a big 8 like the rest. Happy new years to all

Pink is so common anymore with the breast cancer thing, I don't think he would get embarrassed at all.

Exactly. I pull with a bone stock truck, and have no problem. I blew by a new model Ford, pulling a smaller Rv, going up a monster hill coming out of Virginia, entering into KY. I topped the hill, pulled off, and was pumping fuel when he finally made it to the top.

That sounds about right for a newer ford, anything under 35 feet you need to slow down or the trailer just skips off the high in the pavement.

yep... some of us Ford drivers are polite like that.......when we see folks working hard to pull up a hill ....we just pull over and smile while we tip our hats....

Sometimes it's fun to play with the horse power just because we can

Many talk about the power and speed to pull our toys up the hills. I'm more concerned with the stopping ability of my truck going down a steep hill while towing my RW. I haven't had the opportunity to pull my new RW that much since I purchased it (winter), but during the 100 mile trip back from the dealership I had the chance to use the tow/haul mode with the exhaust brakes going down some hills and I was very pleased with the performance of my truck. Not to say the other truck makes can't do the same, but to me being able to stop out weights my speed to the top of the hill. JMO
