Truck Camper

We’ve decided to stay where we are in northern Arizona for the winter. Still need to go home to Baltimore area to see family and other stuff for 4-6 weeks. Don’t really want to pull the RW all that way just fir that.

It occurred to me that a truck Camper would be great. My Dually has the camper package and also airbags and swaybars.

Anybody know of anywhere or anyone out this way that might rent one ?

Vaughn,

Where are you planning to stay in northern Arizona? That area can get some fairly severe winters in the high desert country. It is a beautiful area though.

So, no Tampa RV show in January?

Guy

Don't know who might rent one but we do own one. We love having our truck camper for rustic camping, places that won't accommodate our RW and for quick trips. Also it's nice to have to use like right now when our RW's been in for warranty work since Aug 18. The slide has to be taken out so not something that can be handled with a screwdriver. I'm setting in ours writing this in Bodega Bay.

Hi Guy. We’re going to stay here in Page at the bottom of Lake Powell. We’ve both been asked to stay and do another season and frankly too good an offer to pass up.
Understand there will be some cold but we’ve done that before and the coach does well. Since we won’t be in Myrtle Beach though we’re thinking next winter will be on the beach somewhere between Texas and Alabama. Open for suggestions of nice places for a few months that either right on beach or close enough to hear the water and walk over.
