Your new trailer is on the way

Today while rolling North on I55 a saw a brand new black/moron Redwood heading south. I'm not sure which floor plan it was but it did have the rear window.

So if anybody on this forum have one like this coming.......it's almost there! HAPPY THANKSGIVINGS!

That might be ours!! We ordered a 38GK black/maroon that is supposed to arrive in Phoenix on Monday. We even delayed our Thanksgiving RV trip so we could take the new RV. We can't wait!

It was a beauty going down the road but being pulled by a less than fancy truck. I thought as it went by that it looked like either a "RL" or a "GK". I saw it headed south on I55 about 3PM about an hour North of St. Louis (about 5 hours from the factory). The driver still had about 24 hours of drive time so depending on what he does for Thanksgiving, it should be in Phoenix this Friday or Saturday. If he has family along the route he might stop for the holiday.

Thanks for the info. We have a 30ft 5th wheel that we are trading in, so the 38GK is a big step up for us. After our S & B home sells, we will go full time in the Redwood. Not retired yet.

This should be some exciting time for you. I fondly remember waiting for our Redwood to come off the assembly line and then going to the paint shop. When we finally arrived at the dealership and saw the "Beauty" sitting there we were both thrilled.

Make sure you ask plenty of questions and check EVERY component of the unit. Also PLEASE make sure you have both batteries and that they're not the cheep emergency batteries that the factory puts in. This will save you a bunch of heartache latter.

We are sooo excited. Our GK will have the residential appliance package, so we will need to make sure it has the proper batteries. Will also have the induction cooktop and the power cord reel, and many other options.

Take pictures of the power cord reel and any other new updates and post them here for all to see.

We also got the res pkg in the 38gk...
we have 3 batteries in ours... at first they were trash no names, but complained to the dealer and they finally put some new interstates in there...

but STILL, the way the disconnect switch does not disconnect, it will drive the batteries down...

You were right. GK arrived at Camping World in Avondale, Arizona this morning. We were able to go and take a quick look at it. One new feature that we saw is they added a door over the opening above the refrigerator that has several tree designs in it with a back light behind it. We did see that the electrical outlet in the appliance drawer of the pantry that is between the TV and the microwave was missing. We will post pictures once they have cleaned it up and we take possession.

We noticed the missing outlet but located one in the pantry between the fridge and the stairs. That is not our first choice.

Your appliance outlet in the pantry is now one shelf down on the right side. This is on the stove side now.

We were at the factory last week.
