2019 F350 7 RV Brakes

I have a question for all with 2019 or similar models F350. Do your trailer brakes seem to work ? I can activate the manual brake on the dash and lock the trailer brakes but just using the brake pedal on PU seems like trailer brakes do not activate. I can drive slower by my house and slam on the brake pedal and let off and never hear the brakes on trailer. I can hear the brakes release when I manually activate the brake controller.

Sorry , yes I checked brakes and they look like new , I just rebuilt end of last year. And setting does not matter , I’ve tried from a 1-10

This is probably not the answer you want but I changed mine to disc brakes and it makes a BIG difference.

I'm planning on switching to disc brakes, but as always I buy lots of parts and carry spares when I travel. I bought drum brakes as spares and I have 2 spares left. I'm thinking after I use them all up I will switch to disc, I just can't seem to waste the money and not use parts already purchased. Only if I would have know i would have bought all the disc brake parts for spares.

It just seems like the brakes do not work with the brake pedal

Sell those spare parts online and put the money towards Deemax Disc brakes !

We just did the swap on my bro in laws 2016 39MB and it was rather easy.. The hardest part was making sure the actuator was wired properly.... They come with plug and play flex hose.. Cut to size and already have ends on the ALL flex hose.... the kit had EVERYTHING needed except fluid... all in we were just about $2500.. that included new bearings as well

I will be interested in the winter, we are fixin to leave for 5 months on road, so I don't want to do on the road. When we get home and I tear apart for the winter , I'm thinking about changing over.
